Guys, I’m looking for a cover for my Alumacraft 1648 Mod-V Jon boat and I’m not finding many options. Has anyone come up with a decent solution for this issue? I don’t need anything fancy, just want to be able to keep debris out of the boat without messing around with a tarp.

How much are you looking to spend? I know where you can get a custom cover for maybe $250-300.

Biggill, I would maybe go that route if there’s no decent cheaper option. What shop are you referring to?

    Thanks

I bought a very nice cover that I installed snaps on both it and the boat and it works great. I’ve got a polarcraft Xdeep and Xwide mod v. Bought from Starks in Prarie du chein Wi. for around 170.00. I also installed 4 bows to make it bullet shaped for the road. I think that it is 10 years old now.

I had a cover made for my 20’ glass boat at Economy Canvas in East Bethel. I’ll post some pictures later. Mine was about $400.
