has anyone ever fished this creek before and if ya have how big is it

I fished it once about 10 years ago. It is a small stream with very little holding water. I don’t believe there were any trout in the stream at that time. I stomped on banks and poked sticks under a couple banks. Only thing I saw were a few suckers and chubs. I walked it all the way from the mouth to wear it runs under hwy 52.

If you want to avoid crowds opening day and are looking for a meal. Do one of two things. Get there early and hike back somewhere, or just plain hike. Some people like to wander opening day, but a bulk of people won’t want to hoof it too far from their vehicles, especially if it’s crappy out – which looks like a given right now.

If you run into lots of anglers who are leap frogging you, hold your ground and stay put. It doesn’t pay to turn an outing into a track meet .
