Hey! I wanted to tell ya how nice those pictures in the gallery looked!
Seems you had a great year….although my trout season sucked (we didn’t get out), my whiskered trout fishing was great!
I was going through my dad’s fly gear about a week ago and looked at his favorite 4 weight…here it was a St Croix!
I guess I should explain…all I ever knew him to use was the $14.95 “automatic” reels and $20. fly rods…Once I landed my 22 lbs carp on a 3M single action reel…he was sold on spending a little more money on a good reel. He would always loose the bigger fish on the auto…because the more line went out the tighter the “drag” spring became.
He still used the cheapo fiberglass rods…then I heard he bought a 4 wt, but I never paid attention to it when he fished it….until the other day when I saw the case.
The schmuck! He could have told me!
Anyway….cool avitar too. Trout are so beautiful, but it’s hard to capture just how beautiful they are on camera…Your avitar and photo gallery…is good!
