I plan on finally getting out tonight for the first time this year. I most likely will hit a feeder of the middle branch Root. Has anyone been out in the last few days?

Best of luck – chances are it will be very clean. The flows are up nicely versus last year and the rough fish have already started their annual spawn. If you want trout, get downstream of some of those spawners. I wouldn’t be surprised if they are stacked up picking off eggs.
