Anyone been out on the Eau Galle this year? (yes, I realize it is in wisconsin… )

Thinking of hitting it this weekend and haven’t heard much or been on it before….

    Any thoughts or comments?

    Thanks,

Are you talking Eau Galle river or lake? And what kind of fish you looking for?

Sorry, didn’t realize it was vague…

    Thanks,

Personally I would fish the Rush River, probably one of the best trout streams in Wis. The Eau Galle has them but I don’t know how accessable it is, from having the cross private land?

And you might want to check the Wisconsin regs….I believe from now until our opener it is catch and release only and you must be Barbless!!

    Thanks for the feedback Musky!

I have fished the Rush a number of times and have only had luck there. It is truly a gem.

Just looking for new water and adventures…

I’ll report back on how the Eau Galle is as well, when I know more. I am only barbless and catch and release, of course.

Another good choice would be the Kinnikinnic and also the little known Trimbelle.
