Whitewater and Kids

    This weekend I plan to fish the Whitewater area with my 10 year old. Any recommendations of kid-friendly places to go? I was considering within the State Park.

    Bingo. Stay in the park and stay along 74 as you head towards Elba. Lots of open areas with easy access. Be warned that if temperatures get anywhere in the 30’s or better that chances are that there will be plenty of other people on the water with the same idea.

    Just exactly where I fisrt learned to fish for trout, many, many, etc years ago. (I was 9 or 10 at the time) Great memories and an excellent opportunity.
