Scouting for the new year season

Hi, I checked out some spots on the Middle Branch and found huge numbers of trout. Unfortunatly nothing big. I am talking about the Middle Branch of WW. I walked to some places that were changed last year. I stalked some places and saw nothing. Then when I walked the same area and tossed some stones into the area I saw a lot of trout :toast I’m hook and release but I do not think less of anyone who likes to eat some trout. I used to do it all the time! Can’t wait for the opening but for me my fish to eat will be from the backwaters! Just can’t beat the taste of sunnies or crappies fillet dipped in egg and coated with Bisquick! I did not walk up to the upper end of the North Branch where Swanny gets those big trout like 16 to 20 inches! Fantastic! I’m glad you release those big ones Swanny. Like why do I think you are totally insane! Just because of those reports of such big fish. I hope you just keep catching them! Good luck! I know where you catch those “big trout”!
