I was out guiding today and I can give somewhat of an updated report on certain areas. The Root is ugly; there’s just no other way to put it. However, I traveled south and east out of Rochester, and all the streams I ran across were in good shape. All were either gin clear to very fishable.
There’s less than two weeks left, so get out an get after it, regardless of your preferred method.
