A buddy and I hit the WW area after work yesterday until dark. There were several hatches going on throughout the day/evening: caddis, midges, and pseudocloens. I caught a few fish on dries, mainly a basic fluttering caddis and also to mimic the psedocloens, a #16 cream colored Light Hendrickson. We did lots of exploring – finding lots of marginal water that could use some H.I. We both caught some pretty big rainbows (14 and 15 inches respectively).
Anyway, the waters are clean and the weather is good, so get out and get after it – the season closes in three weeks.
