Was up in Alaska fishing the Alagnak for the better part of two weeks – what’s going on with the local streams. I hate to ask but are any clear enough to fish?

Well I hope you had fun. Atleast you have fished for the last 2 weeks. Around here everything has been so muddy it isn’t even worth a shot. That seems like the way it is going to be for a while yet too. I know that the north branch is up over the platforms by a couple of inches and that every other creek is about the same. Who knows though, maybe we will get a week of sun and be able to get out again. Once again, I hope you had fun up there and welcome back!
