Can anyone help me on where to fish on black dog lake for cat’s. The power plant i heard keeps pumping warm water/air into the lake but i have no idea where to fish it? it’s such a long lake. Is it too cold out for cats now?
Are there cat’s to be caught there still this year? I’d pay money to know where to go?

    Lost with my cat.

Hi Jason, You might have better luck posting in the catfish forum…not sure, but it’s worth a try…

I’d bet money if you fish where the warm water discharges into the lake you’ll find the catfish. I don’t know the lake but that’s where I’d start looking.

Hey Jason, where i live here in town theres a coal fired power plant that has a warm water discharge into a lake. I know guys that want to catch a few cats on a warmer day in winter go there and fish the warmer water and get them. Right at the discharge its pretty hot so they fish a little further downwater. The two favorite baits here for cats are shad and fresh chicken liver.
