I can’t believe for a second that none of you guys have been out chasing fall walleyes on the MN. I know a few of you that know the fishing has got to be getting really good soon, if they are not going already.

    C’mon lets here some reports……….

You should check out the river gauges mate.
The conditions will be ready in the next couple weeks.
Water temps have finally started to drop, But after the massive rains recently its a little nuts out there.
You know how the Minnesota gets when the levels go way up. Tons of junk and fish are hard to locate, much less catch.
    Here is the savage link.

How was the action Mate? I bet the colors are awesome right now……but then there’s a high probability that your time frame for fishing made it a little difficult to enjoy. (Nite time)?

It got dark quick out there so not much time for fall colors. Channel cats were biting, nothing big though. Next trip on the river will most likely be for walleyes.

On a side note: Been doing well with bass and pike on a couple lakes so I may not see the river for a week or two.

I might head back to LeSueur to a few spots I know to hit up for some great fall walleye. If I get bored with them I’ll definately go back to cats! They are way more fun to fight

But I prefer the taste of the eyes, especially these cold water ones….

The fall wrapped up in fine fashion.

Over the past two weeks we boated 10 fish that averaged almost 9lbs!

    Here’s a few of mine:

Well there is no shortage of forage apparently. Those are some chunky fish.

You sure that one wasn’t from a trip to Canada? We haven’t gotten any snow down here yet.

Wowzers them are some nice pigs.. I wish I could figure out the river over here by Redwood Falls. I know there are some nice Eyes in here but they are not in the places or going after the same stuff I used up on the Red Lake River.. I am having a tough time getting aquainted to this new water. Maybe I might just get a an email with some tips and new things to try over here.

    Nice pics. Dtro.

Looks like you guys have dialed in the right combo.

Thanks for sharing. There are many of us that are living vicariously through you.

For someone who has put their time in you have definitely earned it.

    Awesome season Mate!!
