Had the pleasure of chatting with one of the MN river barge captains on the radio last night while doing some catting.
The dredgers that have been working away like mad men in the Savage area of the MN river. They got the call to head up to 35W and start lending assistance to the bridge collapse. He passed on by approx 10:30pm.
Sounds like Lock and Dam #1 had a lot of activity in the area last night.
A tip of the hat to everyone that has taken the time to offer a prayer or assistance in what ever manner they are able.
God bless those that help in times of need.
Even got a chance to cross paths with Fisher Dave Scott. Good to see you out there. Glad that you weren’t under the bridge.
