Well the last couple days of warm weather finally triggered the Ice break on the MN. Lots of ice still close to shore. As well as big chucks drifting down. The surge that is coming should take care of most of it over the rest of the week.
I will be checking the boat launches from shakopee to the Ft snelling over the next week and will update you all on the status of those.
    OPEN WATER YAHOOO!
Now its a mad race to get the boat put back together. Stay tuned for the project overview.

You may be on your own with that one.

Anyone hear of fish being caught down Blackdog way?

Lots of dead shad floating around down that way. I wouldnt doubt there is a fish around somewhere(if they werent all caught and kept last year), but I dont know how hungry fish would be with all the shad around.
