Is it time yet ?

Its getting closer,
I went down to check out the river today. (I wish I had remembered my camera).
The only open water that I could find was the spillways at Blackdog(both) and the cedar boat launch (though still covered in snow and ice.

Sooon. Oh hurry up. Soon.

I flew over it yesterday and the ice was looking pretty poor. Open spot at black dog. Every thing down stream of that looked like it could let loose any time.

Were you flying commercial or do you you have your Pilots licence?

Its a neat perspective when you can get up in a private plane and check out your fishing areas from the air. Its amazing what you can see. Its been a long time since I’ve been able to do that.

Was coming home from vacation in Mexico.

A few years back I took some flying lessons from flying cloud. After flying over a the lakes and rivers and seeing all of the structure my attention shift back to fishing. Never did get my license.
