Shakopee area kicked out quite a few nice striped bass (white bass or whatever)an eye, a sauger, and a nice 9lb cat yesterday morning. Just like last week, the fishing was pretty darn good until about 9:30am then it pretty much shut down. Water seemed to be up just a touch from last week.
What kinda areas do you target down there. Ive heard the outlets from the power plant can be good.
moby1 – when you say shakopee, i can only imagine you mean the minnesota river. i work in b-ville and cross it everyday and always wondered if there is any good fishing up that way. i know there is a boat landing on the north side of the bridge on the east side of the freeway and have thought about tooling around up there just for kicks but never have. is it worth my time or should i just stay down on the mississippi?
