    Hey everyone!

I recently purchased an angler kayak, to make up for my lack of a boat. I was wondering if anyone else kayak fishes, and if so, where do you like to go?

I got a Wilderness Systems Commander this spring.Hoping to fish so.Wi-ne Iowa rivers.Between work and record flooding I have only made it out to a couple small lakes. This fall we hope to find some smallmouth streams to fish.If you find you enjoy kayaking try to check out ”Canoecopia” in Madison Wi next spring. It’s the largest show in the country.Every thing you could want to see in one place. Also want to check out a few Mississippi back waters the boat won’t quite go.

If there is water I would think a Kayak would work there. I see guys fishing out of them on every river I fish. Pool 2 would be good and you could get into the back waters to get away from the big boat waves. The St Croix north of the high bridge is made for kayak fishing. The rum, upper mississippi. Like I said just about any where there is water.

Good luck with the new Kayak. Would be cool to see some photos of what you catch from it.

I went out on Calhoun/Cedar/Isles yesterday, and didn’t catch anything. As soon as I catch something I will be sure to add photos

I bought a kayak this spring and have yet to fish out of it. Maybe we should try to get together and learn how to do this.

In the cities I have been on Calhoun, Forest lake and Pool 2. All without a problem from waves or bigger boats.
