pitching pumpkin -pepper or pearl white 4″ tubes in the milfoil has allways worked well for me. use at least 3/4oz bullet sinkers and punch throw the thick stuff and fish the base of the plant. they hit haed and right away as soon as it gets down to there level. it’s like there starving they hit it so hard.
the north bay up by red barn resort is VERY good
    good luck

I heard a rumor that they cleaned it up and milfoil is a thing of the past? Lake is clearing up and the carp are gone. Just a rumor I heard.

The lake still has some milfoil and plenty of carp remain after last winters efforts to reduce them. Don’t hesitate to fish deeper off the main lake points (gull point, camel humps) I’ve had great success fishing large minnows deep when the water is warm.

There isn’t much for weeds left in the lake and the water dirty. The lake is a shell of its former self before they got the itch to want to kill off all the milfoil. A few years back the water would be gin clear in June now its dirty all year long.

BTW, what do you call the Camel Humps?
