Heading up to the BWCA

Going to Mudro, Fourtown, Moosecamp, Gun, Fairy, and Boot Lakes. Anyone else done this trip? How was the fishing?

I caught some nice walleyes in Moose camp. We base camped in Fourtown and we caught enough to eat. We did much better for size and numbers in Moose Camp. The river between the two lakes was deceptively long. Not too far as a crow flies, but it snaked back and forth with the occasional beaver damn to pull over. All we did in Moose Camp was troll original Rapala’s behind the canoe. That was on an early June trip.
