    I’ve been so busy I have no clue……. And I thought this resort gig was going to be so much fun…

    All kidding aside, it should be one of the best in recent years, and I truly am enjoying my ‘new’ profession.

    It’s been cool and rainy the last couple weeks, so the water temps have actually cooled from the lower 50’s into the upper 40’s. Although I like the warm, sunny weather, the cooler temps will actually benefit those chasing the eyes on OT this weekend and the weeks to come.

    The weather forecast for this weekend looks to be alomost surreal, so anglers should have NO excuses for not being able to get on the water….. We’ve got a lot of guests in for the weekend, and I’m hoping to have a report and pics up on Monday…..

    This will be the first opener in approx. 30 yrs that I will not be on the water due to my new found career…..so good luck to everyone as you visit your favorite ‘honey holes’, and be safe.

    Depends on where you’re going on the Red… I’m about 50 miles from Whapeton and 85 from Fargo.

    This is all tentative but I’m thinking middle-end of June. (?)

    Seems to me the channels shut down in June to spawn…but my memory is a bite…slimy.
