Is there someone out there that knows anything about the quarry fishing in St Cloud area? And or any walleye guys fishing St Cloud area lakes that come across some bass lakes in their hunt for the elusive walleyes? Not looking for spots just an idea what lakes to start looking? Please pm me if you want. I’m new to the St Cloud area from the cities. Anything is appreciated.

The Mississipi has excellent smallie fishing up there. There is a nice river landing in Sartell.

Sorry, I can’t tell you about St. Cloud, but are you talking about the holding ponds that are normally adjacent to quarries? The holes they pumped the water in while mining? I know of one up north that I need again, but it’ll take a canoe to do it unless things have changed since I was a kid. Saw what was the biggest LM I have seen and held (my bro caught it). Must be good ecosystems for a bass. From what I remember of structure and cover, I felt like I was on a tiny southern reservoir.
