    When does the Mayfly hatch end on the river ?

    There is usally about 3 or 4 good hatches a year. All depends on air and water temp.

    There are 17 families of Mayflies in North America, including 611 species. Not all of them live in the same kinds of rivers, and they don’t all hatch at the same times. So I’d have to say that there are probably hatches happening all summer, with some of them more noticeable than others.
