Made my 1st trip out this year for spring pan fish. Headed out north of Mora and it didnt take long to find active fish. Water temps where in the low 50s. Shallow bays out of the wind today held plenty of sunnies and crappies for us. Spent most of my time today working a Ratso or Shrimpo under a bobber either with no bait or a waxie. the sunnies where nuts on this. Mike was working a minnow on a plain hook under a bobber and had more luck with the crappies.

Tons of action today. It took a little looking around to find them but once we did it was one after another.

Any one else been getting out?

Sounds pretty close to my neck of the woods. I got the boat out and ready, but couldn’t catch anything in the yard! Might get out this week when it gets warmer.

Sounds like it is time for me to head to the brother’s cabins (2 brothers with 2 separate cabins) just north of Mora this weekend.

I was also just north of Mora last wknd Mike. A shallow muddy bay meant lots of sunnies for us and a few crappies. Several of the sunnies approaching the 10″ mark. When they came to the boat they were spitting up gobs of small leeches.
