Ok so I’m new to the area (kind of fun and exciting to start from scratch) and I haven’t a clue as to the fishing store locations I found a Gander Mountain in Maple Grove which isn’t too far away, but was curious as to if there are any closer/better Sporting goods Stores in the area. Geez next thing you know I’ll be asking for hardwater places to fish on P (hey, i’ll take any hints on that as well)
    Thanks!

There is the Gander on Highway 5 in Eden Prairie. Cabelas in Rogers, just down the road from Maple Grove store you were at. Sportsman Wharehouses all over. Don’t bother wasting your time at [censored], it’s not longer a real sporting good store. However if you are into golf or skiing, it’s decent place, but high priced. Thorne Bros if you are into musky fishing, up in Fridley.

    Welcome!!

is there a fleet farm on that side of town? they have a decent selection of the basics.. and more often than not, they are cheaper than gander/cabelas. i always try to check out prices at a fleet farm before i go to gander.

Fleet Farm is in Brooklyn Park/Osseo area at the intersection of HWY 169 and 85th Ave North.

Thanks everyone, definitely gonna check some of these places out. I might have to swing on down by the woodbury sportsmans warehouse never been to one and really curious to see what they have to offer. Anyways thanks again guys.

Can’t wait to get back on that hardwater, and boy does it come quicker here than it did in iowa.
