Anyone know if Eagle Lake by Big Lake has any basses in it? You can pm me if you have any inside info? I’m moving up to Becker next June and am looking for some good bass lakes besides the river, Big Lake/Mitchell chain and Briggs chain (though not too thrilled with those chains for bass but they would be close). Or even any up by St Cloud? Thanx

Those are great lakes and ideas but I’m kind of looking for a place to an go to after work. What about Ida over by Monti? anyone know how that lake is for bass? I fished Birch Lake over by Ida and didn’t fare too well??

I used to live in Monti and fished a bunch of the small lakes south west of town and did very well. Try Little Cedar, Little Eagle and my favorite North lake. If your really adventurous you might try Pelican. It’s full of stumps big rocks and a combine, so I’ve heard. But some really big fish have been pulled through the ice. All the small lakes are going to be tough to get a big rig in but have public landings for standard fishing boats. Drop me a PM if you want any details.
