When the DNR announced a possible change in the fishing opener date, little did it know mother nature was listening.
The proposed change would have moved the opener 1 week ahead so not to conflict with Mothers Day. Everyone knows that the weekend weather before opening weekend is always beautiful.
Well, mother nature thought this coming weekend was opener and didn’t have time to change the weather pattern. 20s for lows and 40s for highs,windy,rainy.
ITS NOT NICE TO FOOL MOTHER NATURE!!!!!
