Heading to Leech lake this weekend, First time

    I will be heading up to Leech Lake this weekend and was wondering what I should try for walleye and musky. Is there a better time of day. We are going for a softball tournament but should have time for fishing. We will be staying at Moonlight Bay Resort on the east side just north of Walker. Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

    Stick a leader on and a white spinner bait.
    Just hit the weed beds right in the bay.
    You will do great, don’t bother with the Walleye.
