Great weekend fishing!

Thought id share a few pics from this weekend fishing. Started out with my wife, Stacey and I skipping work Friday to hit the river fishing. We did real well as we targeted small mouth, then Stacey wanted a few fish to eat for dinner so we threw some bombers in about 5 feet of water where we caught Walleye in the past..Ended up withseveral nice ones and kept 3 for dinner. Sat I hooked up with Jared (Jrat) and hit more of his stomping grounds…Mille Lacs..Jareds kids came with and we all had a great time..We started out draggin leaches and caught a few but when we stopped and bobber fished is when we caught the most..We ended the long hot day fishin for Smallies and had the best luck on bomber crank baits..Jareds oldest son Spencer caught one in his finger all the way past the barb and what a trooper..not one tear and once it was yanked out he kept on a fishin as nothing happened..hope you all had a great weekend on the water as well…Jay

Last one ..me with a Mille Lacs Smallie…Never got into any huge Smallies but they were a blast after catchin the Walleye.
