Any of you out there heading to Bigstone this year? I read last week that the opener is a week earlier this year. This will be my 4th year out there and I have a great time every time. Looking forward to staying dry this year (not like the 100% chance of rain we had last year.) and catching fish off the dock at night in 3 feet of water. Only 22 days away!!
Rod will be ready to cast at 12:01 (if I am in any shape to cast at that time). 
Yes, Adam is right, I will be out for the opener and also back the following weekend to fish the “Border Battle Tournament”!! I’ll use the opener for pre-fishing and probably get back out there on Thursday night for some more fishing before the tournament. South Dakota doesn’t stand a chance against the guys/gals with 10,000 lakes!! 
So far there are seven guys going in my group, so it should be a great time as usual!!
Friday night we usually meet at the Headwaters bar or the legion in Ortonville, at least I think it is a legion and not a VFW??? We usually go there last and always have plenty of in us so I never look to see which one it is…..
