…a bunch of golden shiners??? Went to the local crappie hole here in the north metro (would rather not mention where since its a tiny spot). Found nothing but big shiners — 8 inches mostly, some bigger. They were hitting my jigs like crazy. Anyone catch any of these buggers too?

I’ve caught nice big ones before on a smaller crappie lake by me, I was totally dumbfounded with the first one. And yeah I caught some big ones.
So did you scale them or filet them 
I’ll take as many as you can catch for cut bait!!!
Not sure the ice is safe anymore. But that’s a great idea for cut bait. If I get out there again I’ll keep what I catch and let you know.
