Well I just got back from up at my cousin’s place near Blackduck, MN. When I got there on friday afternoon, we all decided we would go out to Blackduck Lake. Well after cutting a new hole for the spear house, which the ice was 3 feet +, we set up the jig sticks and tip-ups. Only one tip-up got a hit, and it was a perch, about 6-7 inches long. Then one of my cousin’s sons got a 14 inch northern with the spear. That was it. I was a little disappointed that it wasn’t better fishing. Guess I will try a little closer to home next time. Go with Glenn K. again…
