lake Trout Recipies

    My brother in law hooked me up with some Lake Superior Lake Trout Filets any one out there have any recipies. I am planning on grilling it with a little butter. Any better ideas.

    Brush the filet with olive oil. Take 1 half cup of brown sugar, 1 table spoon of curry powder, 1 tablespoon garlic, and 1 tablespoon of salt. Mix well, and sprinkle hevily over the top of the filet. (Leave the skin on, and cut the Y bones out if you haven’t already.)
    Put on tin foil, and grill on the skin side only. The skin will cook onto the foil, and when you take it off, the skin will stay attached.
    This works very well with salmon as well!

    turned out perfect, not fishy tasting at all even the kids loved it.

    I would have to agree with that recipe.. Although add a teaspoon of ginger and a bit o’ orange zest…..and cook slowly over the grill with some cherrywood.
