    Well we spent the week on Brule Lake. Only one Walleye but the Smallmouths just kept coming. We fished with jigs and spinners and casted them up along the shorelines.It was the best Smallmouth fishing I have ever had.

    Brule is best at night for walleyes or off deep rock piles in the day. Glad you had fun with the smallmouths… They’ve really taken off in the last few years in all the lakes around Brule. 10 years ago you wouldn’t catch all that many and now they are everywhere.
