    What a beauty!!!!

    A buddy’s buddy just boated a 52×23 ski on a “non-disclosed” named lake.

Pics and details will follow up down the road, as I was sworn to secrecy.

But the fish is still in the water and swimming quite happily today!!!!!!!

I just love our local waters for producing big PIGS!!!!

James, Suzuki, & Crossin Eyes boat tuna walleyes on the river.
You got this hog, you got my buddy’s buddy’s HOG.
Another buddy boated a 46″ on Indy Sunday.
Another buddy boated a 47″ on Inday last night.
My buddy lost a “over 20lb” pike on P4 backwaters on Sunday, plus we caught an 8lber, a 5lber, 2-4lbers.

    Got to love local waters!!!!!!!

    First off..very nice fish, congrats!

Something to consider especially with Muskies…the water temps have been in the low-mid 80’s for the last couple weeks on many of the metro lakes and all the way up to the Bemidji area. The’ve just recently come down to the mid-upper 70’s but will rise again with the continued heat wave.

Hot water produces way less DO(Disolved Oxygen) and a musky that has been fought to the boat takes in much more oxygen than it normally would but with the hot water there is less oxygen. Please consider leaving the fish in the net and releasing it in the water instead of holding it up for the photo session. It puts less stress on the fish and will help with delayed mortality. There have been at leat a half dozen fish found floating in the last week with 4 over 50″ . This has been the longest heat wave Minnesota has had in a half century , so if you can’t stay off the water till it cools down consider maybe not pulling them into the boat and releasing them right out of the net.

My Musky gear hasn’t been in the boat in over two weeks now, I forgot how fun Bass fishing can be.
