    Hey Gang,

Just had a Canada walleye fishing trip cancel … so it looks like hubby and I will be traveling with the Scamp and doing some “kayak fishing” instead. Got any suggestions for a good bluegill/crappie lake with a campground nearby? Would appreciate ANY tips! Thanks.

I have been fishing at chester woods lately and have had pretty good luck with bluegill. It has a nice campground and the water is no motor or eletric motor only so a kyac would be great. There is a ton of cover for panfish and it hasn’t been to busy. It is about 10 miles east of Rochester on highway 14 it is a county park hope this helps and have fun.

Hey, Thanks for the suggestion! We decided to head up north this weekend… try to get out of the heatwave. Not sure if it’ll be better up north or not. I may venture over there after we get back since I live pretty close and could make a daytrip out of it.

I am SO hoping to catch some fish this weekend (heat or not!!!)
