My brothers friend Jay has been chasing Muskies on this lake for 3 years and he finally sealed the deal yesterday morning. Seal the deal he did with a 51″ Muskie! Great job Jay . He took this beast on a top water “Pappa-Chubby”. He had two others snap the bait that day, but this is the one that counts! His largest Muskie to date! He had some troubles with his partner netting the fish. He came up with hooks and no fish in the net . The fish came off boat side and Jay dove a arm down and trapped it against the side of the boat until he was able to hoist her out of the water by hand ! Talk about a moment of panic and anxiety, Whew! Luckily she laid on her side for a moment.

    Nice fish and pics.
Great catch at the boat. I’ll bet his heart was in his throat until he had her in the boat!

Catch and release boat side and then hand grabbing??? I thought they only did that down south with catfish.
