I am heading up to 2nd crow wing this weekend and was wondering if anybody had some advice. I’ll be fishing the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th crow wings. Targetspecies will be walleye, but also will fish for pike, bass, and panfish.
NICE walleye caught last weekend on 3rd on the hump straight out 1/4 to 1/2 mile from the Crow Crest ramp. Live bait fished real slow was the ticket. Most fish well over 20″.
My cousin says they were doing well w/ cane poles and minnows in 2-4′ in the pencil reeds for crappies. He was fishing on just past the 1st major point on 3rd as you come from 2nd to 3rd.
