Potential Hitch at Sag

Anyone who fishes the Canadian side of Sag with leeches might be out of luck this season.
The old way of buying leeches at Chippewa on the Canadian side to use on the Canadian of Sag may be over. The Canadian government has decided that the only leeches you can use in Canada are Canadian leeches. The problem is that Chippewa used to by their leeches in Minnesota bring them into Canada to sell to Americans to use in Canada. Anyway there is no real network set up for resale of Canadian leeches. Looks like I’ll be giving those ringworms I’ve been reading about a try.
