40″ Northern that weighed 14 pounds

    This picture was sent to me by my nephew Jordan Hayes. On vacation in July of 2004 on Lower Cullen Lake near Nisswa Mn. he was trolling a special secret lure that the pike really like to chew on.

    He says he missed the lake record by only 4 oz. This fish was brought to the dock right after he caught it for a quick picture and back into the water.

    Jordan said “I want to let her go so i can catch it next year when it beats the lake record”

    Way to go buddy I’ll be looking for that picture next year…
