and another thing about HAWG HUNTERS GUIDE SERVICE…
Under some advice from DAN (HAWG HUNTERS GUIDE SERVICE) Ive recently takin up quite a collection of TUBE JIGS, and have recently had much success on PELICAN RIVER just south of ORR,MN.. The bass are biting like crazy, with a normal catch of 8-10 per hour I fish.. pics coming soon.. much to my surprise while casting under the dam on pelican river, from above, ive landed a few nice sized crappies on tubes.. ive been out an hour before and an hour after work every day for about a week and a half.. the largest bass was only 18 inches so far but ive missed a couple that were for sure over 20… theres walleye in there, ive seen em under the bottom side of the dam but i havent brought any live bait down there yet. good luck fishing and give tubes a chance!..again thanks to advice from dan (HAWG HUNTERS GUIDE SERVICE)!

    Hey Kev,
Thanks for the great endorsement, I will see if I can’t get away for a Fri-Sat trip this weekend. Have you figured out how to get on Lake Menotellya yet, I wouldn’t mind giving some of those Iron Range Mossbacks a try.

gotta show you some of these pics man, a couple nice bass and some 10 inch crappies! i letemgo of course! did take one eater size northern, boiled it in sprite, and dipped it in garlic butter what a treat!… next weekend ill definatly have some time to fish if your around.. i know where the ski’s are bitin on vermillion but i cant disclose the bay.. sorry guys.. all i can say is the bite is better towards the tower side, versus the cook side!! good luck fishin.. and just to clarify, im using tubes that are 3-4 inches long.. ive had a few people down at the dam pull out these little tiny jigs and seems all they really catch are little tiny bluegills!! ….
