    Yes, Bay Lake is a good bass lake and has a very good population of crappies! nice size also!

    Very interesting. I wasn’t too excited when I went to the DNR site, and it only showed northern, bullhead, and panfish that were netted.

    Any suggested spots?

    I might be heading this way this weekend if the weather on Mille Lacs doesn’t cooperate and wondering if there are any reports on the bass fishing?

    Alphid, we fished a club tournament on Bay 2 years ago. There were tons of small bass which were 12 inches then. The joke running was that it looked like someone used a cookie cutter on them.

    We won the big bass pot with a 4 lber.

    It may not be a great lake for size, but it’ll keep you busy.
