Good to see HWY 65 bait south of Mora is open again. Looks like the folks that own the bait shop in Harris must of purchased it. Trailers and old building are gone. New building set up and new signs out front. Looks pretty nice and if its half the bait shop of his other stores are it will be a good one.

That’s good news. I really like Fish Lake Bait. I wasn’t a fan of the old hwy 65 owners though. When you have to pay $20 for a membership to get bait at half price, I’ll avoid the place and go somewhere without the bs.
Looks like this might be old news as their face book page says they opened on May 10th. The old guy was a little quirky but then again most guys like that are. Easy to over look when he would get up anytime of day or night to serve up some bait.

I did see the place was cleaned up when I drove past a couple weekends ago.
I never had problems with the old owners. Don’t they sell big river chubs there? We get “river bait” (I think they call it) from Jerry’s to use for pike and they work better than suckers.
