Well I was a bit SE of Brainerd. The water temps were high 50’s to 60. I fished em shallow 1to3 feet and these were pre-spawn to spawn fish. I got one nice male who’s tail was all beat up. I got 9 over 14″ and another 3 over 12″ and two shorts. Got most on assorted plastics and one on a jig, many more pike than bass.

I was down on a lake south of lakeville, the water temp was 63 degrees. I did get back to the landing safe, and that was all that i got!! not a single thing, had a few nice strikes drifting across the sand with crawlers. but not even a fish in the boat for the day of sunday.

    thanks

With all the bad weather that has been going on lately, I totally wussed out and didn’t go, and still haven’t gotten out yet, that WILL soon change. Jack.
