Looking at purchasing a Fenwick Elite Tech Walleye rod and was wondering what people think of these rods? I have a few lower end Fenwicks and have had good results with them. Just wondering if its worth the money.

I like them. I have 2- EWS6’6″ MF jigging I use for jigging and rigging. I have had them for 3 years now I think. Cork has held up well and I like the short fore grip too.

I like the M for the larger fish in Mille Lacs but want to try a 69-ML this year to see if I like the feel better. I am also considering their 8′ corkin rod.

I think you will be happy.

I have 3 of the 69mlxf and love them for pitching and dragging. I think they would be great rigging rods as well.
I also have two of the 63mf I use for vertical jigging. I like them but but not as well as the 6’9″ because I think the tip could be alittle softer.

I appreciate the input. I cannot wait for open water and even better would be walleye opener! I will be purchasing the elite tech rod. I really like the 6’9″ rod you are talking about and the reason I like it so much is becasue of the soft tip. I really think that would give you the upper advantage on the picky fish bites.

I have a couple as well… and really like them. Also, when I got mine found a great price through Amazon. Maybe there is a local dealer by you, I’m not near anyone… and the prices were great.

I have The 6’6″ Jigging and the 7’2″ Rigging rods. They are great rods! well worth the $. And they stand behind their warranty 100%!!
