Made it back up to Ann lake over the weekend looking for some panfish. Had to jump around a bit but finely found some fish. Problem was they just seemed to be looker. Lots of them come flying in but just stop short and take a look.

Ended up pulling the plug on Ann and headed over to Fish lake to see if they where active there. Jumped around a bit again. Found a few sunnies, perch and even a couple of walleyes biting. Prime time sun down came with no crappies. Just about time to pack up we made one last quick move. Ended up on this last spot finding just a few decent crappies and missing a few more but then it was time to go.

Not a great fishing trip for Saturday but still better than sitting around the house. Think I might have to head back up to Fish Lake a evening after work to get a better crack at those crappies.

Anyone else get out in the area over the weekend? Access on the lakes was still pretty good. Over a couple of feet of ice to. Sure hope this snow coming in now doesnt make to much of a messs of the lakes.

I need to head up to Knife this month some time. The deal is on that lake I find a slow bite most of the day, but sunrise and sunset can be a lot of fun.
