Fishing for Northern’s on Chub Lake (Carlton County) has been quite decent. 15” of ice. Been jigging the weed line on NNE side of lake in 12’ of water. Northern’s have been in 10’-11’ and hitting Salmo Darters (2’’) with minnow heads. Tipup action with Light Pike minnows has been fair. Caught a 6 lb. walleye in same area last week on the Salmo as well.
