I am looking for a resort for the FW and me the week of Labor day. I usually have not taken the wife out on fishing trips and this year she wants to go. this resort should be nice! Restaurant and Bar is a must. looking at Crane Lake, Kab, Rainy, LOW, even some parts of canada. It should be within 5 hours or so of MPLS. Pet friendly. Thanks for your help!

CHASE ON THE LAKE is great ive heard, buddy went there, they have various packages, spa, golf, jet ski rentals, guided fishing… on leach lake in walker
Sha Sha Resort on Rainy does a nice job. Real nice bar & restaurant also. IMHO
Red rock store in ely on jasper lake was great fishing. I’ve heard good things about sha sha also
Check out zipple bay on lake of the woods. Just got back last night from a long weekend up there and had a blast. They run charters to take you out fishing but the also rent boats and even a pontoon! Excelent food at the bar and it is a family based resort not just fishing. they have a pool, canoes/paddleboats to putz around the bay in! I have been to the resort 6 or 7 times( 3 this year) and have never thought of going anywhere else on the mn side of lake of the woods…
