Has anyone fished this lake at all? My wife’s Aunt has a cabin there and we are going up next weekend for a few days. Cabin is on the NE side of the lake.
Will fish for anything- will probably get some time in by myself and some with wife and 2yr. old.
Aunt doesn’t fish, so she can’t help me in anyway with any fishing leads. Hoping someone here can

    Thanks!

I have a friend who has a cabin along the same side of the lake. During the day it’s mostly swimming, boating, water skiing. Lots of jet skis in the summer. We don’t do much daytime fishing.

Evening rolls around, get the camfire by the lake going and we fish channel cats off the dock. Steady action pretty much all night long most evenings! Hook, sinker, glob of crawlers and you are set.

There is a loop-shaped channel on the west side where cabins ring the shore and the water shallows up in the center. Crappies and sunfish like that channel. Small jig and plastics maybe tip them with a waxie if they have tight lips.
