So– what are us fishermen from Sconni supposed to do if we want to fish in Minn this summer? Will they write out paper licenses? Just curious.

I have my MN nonresident already. I just wanted to post this as it seems to be a bit different than previously explained.

    You are SOL.

People are saying all over the internet that all you have to do is tell the CO you wanted to buy one and they wont do anything and that is complete BS. No license = ticket… its a paid privileged to be able to fish, not a right. Saying its the governments fault and you are fishing anyways is only going to bite ya in the butt when you have to pay that $250 fine and all your rods/reels are confiscated.

About 8 years ago I got the lifetime fishing license. With situations like this I’m sure glad I never have to buy another fishing license again. Thank You mom for the best graduation present ever!

I have been thinking on getting the life time license but dont you still have to go get a copy every year just like people paying every year? would be nice if the can endorse it on your drivers license just like firearms saftey…
