BTW – I’m 100% against the White-out thing. We’ve done it twice now, both losses. One of them was against Daniel Jones and the Giants. I get that it’s about money and selling more merch, but focus on the game and not your cool new unis.

You just HAD to remind us didnt you! LOL

and CatnMuskie is right……these guys are playing for future big paydays….and in some cases A job next year……or week!!!!

A perfect example of this is Parker Romo the kicker we picked up when Reichard got hurt. He wasnt with any team, our guy gets healthy and then Romo is cut, but immediately picked up. Good luck to him he did well for us. Could have gone very poorly but it didnt.

I don’t see the Bears upsetting the Vikes. I’m looking for a complete game from the Vikes on both sides of the ball.

I was at the WhiteOut game on December 24, 2022. Vikings beat the Giants. Joseph kicked a 61-yard field goal to win that game.

Vikings lost to the Giants in the playoffs a few weeks later.

Oh man! where’s my memory going in my old age… I must’ve confused it with the playoff loss. I do believe we lost the other one, though. Can’t remember who it was against.

It looked to me like Da Bears did the smart thing and didn’t play a particularly intense physical or competitive game against the Vikes. Well done Bears, now go out and shock the world next week.

Or, they got outplayed and out coached by a superior team.

    Yup, that’s it.

The Bears didn’t fight for every blade of grass like a typical Bears/Vikes game. For whatever reason, the Bears were disinterested in getting really physical. I’ll take it.

The last Packers/Lions game had a physical intensity of 9 or 10.
    The Bills/Lions game was also a 9 or 10.
The Packers/SeaChicken game was an 8 or 9
This Bears/Vikes match-up was a 5 at best. That bodes very well for the Vikings and very badly for the SeaChickens. It adds a minimum of 10% to the Vikes win probability next week and as high as 35% if Geno is really hobbled or just can’t go. With the loss and all the injuries the Lions sustained yesterday, their win probability dipped to 55-60% for next week. The Lions are highly vulnerable if the Bears show up and fight next week. Which I’m sure they will. I’ve been saying it for weeks: the Lions are in trouble. They may not win another game this season, thanks to the additional injuries they sustained against the Bills.

The turning point was when it was 13-0 and the Bears got to the 1. They scored, but the TD was nullified due to not declaring a player eligible, resulting in a 5 yard penalty. Next play, another holding penalty. Then 3 straight incomplete passes and a FG instead. Then the Vikings go 70 yards down the field and score a TD. Their lack of mental capacity in situations that decide the outcome of the game has to be frustrating for their fanbase.

I don’t expect them to be competitive against anyone the rest of the season. Even with the Lions hurt, an injured lion is superior to a full grown clumsy bear. jester

I agree with Matt and Gimruis.
The Bears are lacking in talent at key positions as well as leadership.
Throw in there coaching problems and it showed on the scoreboard that the Vikings are a better coached team.

Bears need a Mike Vrabel as a coach more than Johnson the OC of the Lions which everybody is tslking about.

Good to see Jefferson get that dropped TD pass out of the way in this game. coffee

The Bears have an awkward mix of talent on their roster that just doesn’t seem to gel well. They have got Keenan Allen and DJ Moore…Pro Bowl caliber WRs who have proven it elsewhere with different QBs who aren’t getting the ball. They have Deandre Swift who shows flashes and runs awfully hard, but the offense is behind the sticks so often it’s hard to use him as much as he should be. There’s Williams as a rookie QB with a lively arm and mobility, but is still very raw to the NFL. Jaylon Johnson and Kevin Byard are Pro Bowl caliber defensive backs too.

This isn’t a playoff caliber roster per se, but they have more talent than a lot of the teams they’re in close company with (by records).

Montez Sweat was about the only Bears player that gave 100% last night. I love how they get 1st & Goal at the 1 yd line twice in the same drive and still only come away with 3. Just da Bears doing Bears things.
